Artillery refers to large-caliber weapons such as cannons, howitzers, and mortars that are used in warfare to fire projectiles over long distances. These weapons are typically operated by specialized artillery units and are used to provide indirect fire support to ground troops, attack enemy positions, or destroy enemy fortifications. Artillery plays a crucial role in modern warfare by providing firepower and support to ground forces during combat operations. **

Germany does not have towed artillery because it has shifted its focus towards more mobile and versatile artillery systems, such as self-propelled artillery. These self-propelled systems offer greater mobility, firepower, and protection compared to towed artillery. Additionally, Germany's military doctrine emphasizes rapid deployment and flexibility, which is better served by self-propelled artillery. As a result, Germany has phased out towed artillery in favor of more modern and advanced artillery systems. **

The elevation of artillery is changed by adjusting the angle of the barrel. This is typically done using a hand crank or hydraulic system to raise or lower the barrel to the desired angle. By changing the elevation, the artillery can be aimed at different distances and heights to effectively target the intended area. The elevation adjustment is crucial for accurately hitting targets at varying distances. **

Military service in the artillery involves operating and maintaining large-caliber weapons such as cannons, howitzers, and missile systems. Artillery soldiers are responsible for accurately aiming and firing these weapons to support ground forces or engage enemy targets from a distance. They also play a crucial role in providing fire support during combat operations and conducting precision strikes against enemy positions. Additionally, artillery units are often involved in reconnaissance, target acquisition, and intelligence gathering to effectively carry out their missions. **

The petition to ban artillery players in World of Tanks and remove artillery from the game is a request from some players who believe that artillery disrupts the balance and enjoyment of the game. They argue that artillery can cause frustration and unfair gameplay due to its ability to attack from long distances and deal significant damage without being directly engaged by other players. The petition seeks to address these concerns by calling for the removal of artillery from the game and the banning of players who continue to use it. **

Yes, the Artillery Genius 3D printer is capable of printing with wood filament. Wood filament is a type of composite filament that contains a percentage of wood particles, allowing for a unique wood-like finish on 3D printed objects. The Artillery Genius has a direct drive extruder and a heated print bed, which are both necessary for successfully printing with wood filament. However, it is important to note that printing with wood filament may require some adjustments to the printer settings and may also result in increased wear on the printer nozzle due to the abrasive nature of the wood particles. **

Yes, tanks can theoretically be used as artillery. While tanks are primarily designed for direct fire against enemy vehicles and infantry, they can also be equipped with artillery pieces such as howitzers or mortars to provide indirect fire support. This allows tanks to engage targets at longer ranges and provide fire support for infantry units. However, tanks used in this role may not be as effective as dedicated artillery pieces due to their smaller caliber and limited ammunition capacity. **

The mathematical formula for artillery cannons is the trajectory equation, which describes the path of a projectile in terms of its initial velocity, angle of launch, and gravitational acceleration. This formula is typically represented as y = xtanθ - (gx^2) / (2v^2cos^2θ), where y is the vertical distance, x is the horizontal distance, θ is the angle of launch, v is the initial velocity, and g is the acceleration due to gravity. By using this formula, artillery operators can calculate the necessary parameters to accurately hit a target at a specific distance. **
