Makruh times are the times in Islam when certain actions are discouraged but not sinful. These times include right before the Fajr (dawn) prayer, when the sun is rising, when the sun is at its zenith (midday), and when the sun is setting. It is recommended to avoid engaging in unnecessary activities during these times as a sign of respect for the sacredness of these moments in the day. **

In Islam, makruh refers to actions that are disliked or discouraged but not sinful. Examples of makruh actions include excessive laughter, wasting food or water, and delaying prayers without a valid reason. Muslims are encouraged to avoid these actions as they may lead to negative consequences or displeasure from Allah, even though they are not considered sinful. It is important for individuals to strive to follow the teachings of Islam and avoid both sinful and disliked actions to attain spiritual growth and closeness to Allah. **

Continuously committing Makruh acts can lead to a weakening of one's spiritual connection and a distancing from the teachings of Islam. While Makruh acts are not sinful in the same way as Haram acts, they are still discouraged and can have a negative impact on one's character and spiritual growth. Continuously engaging in Makruh acts can also lead to a desensitization to the importance of following Islamic guidelines and may make it easier to slip into committing Haram acts. It is important for individuals to strive to avoid both Haram and Makruh acts in order to maintain a strong connection to their faith. **

In Islam, it is considered makruh (disliked) to sleep on the stomach. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, "When any one of you goes to bed, let him lie on his right side" (Sahih Bukhari). Additionally, scholars have explained that sleeping on the stomach can put pressure on the body and may lead to health issues. While it is not explicitly haram (forbidden), it is best to avoid sleeping in this position as it goes against the recommended way of sleeping as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). **
