Gender is a social construct, meaning that it is a product of societal norms, expectations, and roles rather than being determined by biology. While sex is determined by biological factors such as chromosomes and reproductive organs, gender is influenced by cultural, social, and psychological factors. This means that the roles, behaviors, and attributes associated with being male or female are not inherent, but rather shaped by the society in which an individual lives. Therefore, gender is not a natural construct, but rather a social one. **

Natural or near-natural ecosystems are areas of land or water that have not been significantly altered by human activity. These ecosystems are characterized by a high degree of biodiversity and are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. They are often self-sustaining and have complex interactions between different organisms and their environment. Examples of natural or near-natural ecosystems include old-growth forests, coral reefs, and wetlands. These ecosystems are important for maintaining ecological balance and providing essential services such as clean water, air, and habitat for wildlife. **

Psychology is considered a social science because it focuses on the study of human behavior and mental processes within social and cultural contexts. It examines how individuals interact with each other and their environment, and how these interactions influence behavior and mental processes. While psychology does incorporate elements of natural science, such as the study of brain function and neurotransmitters, its primary focus on human behavior and society places it within the realm of social science. **

Social scientific research focuses on studying human behavior, society, and culture, while natural scientific research focuses on studying the physical and natural world. Social scientific research often involves qualitative methods such as interviews, surveys, and observations, while natural scientific research often involves quantitative methods such as experiments and statistical analysis. Additionally, social scientific research often deals with complex and dynamic human interactions, while natural scientific research often deals with more predictable and measurable phenomena. **
